My room needed major updates and felt neglected. The food was often below average, sometimes even terrible, which was disappointing. I encountered issues with the front desk as they didn't receive my reservation and I had to provide payment again to secure a room.

where do I even begin? for starters, the so-called "cleaning" was a joke—my room stayed a mess on the first night. Also, is it too much to ask for room service? I had absolutely zero surprises, so a room upgrade would have been nice. clearly, I was just an average guest at Secrets Punta Cana. I almost gave a good review, but I just couldn’t.

Family will enjoy it

The beach service was impressively quick and the staff learned our drink preferences after just one day. We felt like VIPs with our butler, Andrea, checking in on us daily, making sure every little detail was set right for our stay.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive but for the experience we got, I would say it was acceptable.

last time i visited punta cana, i didn’t have such a personalized experience. at secrets, the bartenders crafted amazing cocktails, and the private pool in my room felt incredibly refreshing. i loved taking bachata lessons right by the beach with an attentive entertainment team, making our stay even more enjoyable.

great access to attractions and beaches nearby

i loved how easily we could stroll to dolphin island park, just a short walk away, and the beautiful arena blanca beach was less than 5 kilometers away, making our city walks even more enjoyable during our stay.

the staff at secrets was always welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. we loved the mexican restaurant – it had the best food and the staff there were so vibrant and fun. relaxing at the outdoor swimming pools was perfect to recharge after enjoying the spa treatments. the vibe was just amazing!

The beach location was ideal for both sunbathers and those seeking shade. The free water sports offered an exciting way to explore the ocean. I particularly enjoyed the upscale dining experiences at the buffet restaurants.

Unfortunately, the bathroom sink in our room was clogged during our stay.

My stay at Secrets Royal Beach was a delightful escape with a stunning modern aesthetic, complemented by an elegant swim-up suite. Although my initial room had a less than appealing view, the attentive staff made an effort to enhance my experience, especially during dinner at the fantastic hibachi restaurant.
